Alicia’s Makeup Artistry was born out of a passion for art and beauty. Because of that passion, I made the decision to pursue an education in makeup artistry in Vancouver, B.C. at the Blanche MacDonald Centre. From there I worked for Benefit Cosmetics as a beauty adviser and started pursuing my  freelance makeup career around Seattle, WA. Moving back to good ole’ Nebraska, I worked for MAC cosmetics in Omaha and grew exponentially as an artist. After nearly a decade in this business, I am still constantly growing and learning as an artist and business owner, always expanding my skills and knowledge. I love helping people feel amazing about themselves, whether it be for a special event or with tips and tricks for their everyday makeup application.

I use top of the line products, always testing them and making sure they are to the highest standards. I utilize airbrush application as well as traditional methods, using primarily MAC Cosmetics, but also Anastasia Beverly Hill, Makeup Forever, Smashbox, Stilla, Urban Decay, Temptu, Dinair, Tarte, and what ever else I feel is to the greatest benefit of my clients.

I strive to make sure my clients look and feel beautiful, as well as create a long lasting makeup application that will look great in person and on camera. I love spending time with and getting to know each person while they are in my chair; a lot of my clients end up being long time friends! I am a thankful mother of boy/girl twins and am married to an amazing man who tirelessly designs graphics for me in his free time (Spruce Bruce LLC). My life is full and busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
